Prime Fitness Program This class is designed especially for those 55 and over. Class involves a combination of shallow and deep-water exercise. For those who prefer shallow or deep only, the workout can be modified by the instructor to meet individual needs. The goal of the water exercise is increased flexibility, balance, endurance, endurance training, and overall muscle strengthening. A well balanced workout that makes you feel great is the focus of this class. Shallow / Deep Aerobics This class will incorporate many forms of water exercise, such as: shallow, deep and isolated interval excercises. This class will help build on the intensity of individual workouts and increase endurance over the length of the class. Water Arthritis The Arthitis Foundation Aquatic Program (AFAP) is a water exercise program designed for people with arthritis and related conditions. Water exercise is especially good for people with arthritis, because it allows you to exercise without putting excess strain on your joints and muscles. The AFAP gives you the opportunity to do gentle activities in warm water, with guidance from a trained instructor. Aqua Pilates Basic pilate's moves are intergrated in the pool. The focus of this class is on core strength, breathing, balance, stretching and relaxation. |
