Joe Morgan USPTA pro, tennis director

Joe is celebrating his tenth year at MHRFC in April of 2006. His Mission statement, as tennis director, is to create a tennis culture which is to work for the game and the betterment of all. Joe has been working as a tennis professional in the Cleveland area for 25 years. He has taught the most elite players of the game to our newly beginning players. One of Joe’s favorite lines is that
“you can’t chase two rabbits” you must be decisive on the court to improve your execution thus formulating a winning strategy.
This seasoned veteran would like to share his knowledge with you and make you a better player.
Joe is married to his lovely wife Donna who also enjoys playing tennis at Mentor Heisley. Their family consists of Jen, Melanie, Laura & Mike. Their grandchildren are four in number and they are Gabrielle 9,Aislynn 4,Anthony deceased and Lily 4 months.

Eddie Manuel

USTA Certified – Head Tennis Professional
Eddie joined MHRFC staff in 2006 as Head Tennis Pro. He brings 22 years
of playing experience to the club. Eddie was ranked in the top five men’s open doubles (NEOTA) for ten years through the mid 1990’s and early 2000’s. He was also ranked #2 in men’s open singles and open doubles (NEOTA) in 1996. Eddie gained his first teaching experience as the assistant pro at Mentor Harbor Yacht Club in 1994. He played three years on Eastlake North High School’s varsity tennis team and graduated in 1988. He was team MVP in 1987 and a district qualifier his senior year.

With focus on the Junior Development Program Eddie’s goal is to unlock every student’s potential. Eddie also enjoys working with adults. He is equally enthusiastic about increasing participation in adult programs. He started Cardio Tennis in early 2007 and plans to start a conditioning, strength and movement program in spring 2007.
