The
National Basketball Academy is a professional training organization
that offers basketball skill training for individuals, groups, and teams
through a variety of standard and customized programs for professional,
collegiate, high school, and youth athletes. We will be conducting many
programs at the Mentor Heisley Racquet and Fitness Club and throughout
locations in northeast Ohio, including camps, training, and clinics.

What is the HoopsZone Program?
In conjunction with MHRFC, The National Basketball Academy is now offering
their Winter HoopsZone program. This is an 8-week program offered to
youth athletes for basketball development and play. This 2-hour program
will teach the correct fundamentals of basketball in addition to games
and competitions. The first hour will teach the following fundamental
skills:
---Ball Handling
---Shooting Mechanics and Drill
---Offensive Moves
---Footwork/Pivoting
---Passing/Catching
---Rebounding
The second hour will consist of different team and individual competitions
where prizes will be rewarded. Whether you are looking to learn the
game and have fun or you are looking to improve you game, this is the
program for you!
Who is eligible?
3rd through 6th grades - Girls and Boys
7th and 8th grades - Girls and Boys
*Girls and boys will be separated for competitions.
Program Investment
Members: $80.00
Non-Members: $95.00
(Includes a T-shirt)
We
have a limited number of spots available. Late registrations will be
accepted (if there are spots available) with a $10.00 late fee.
